Ross Minett, owner of rossgardens
I am trained, qualified and experienced in both garden design and garden care.
I gained distinctions in both my garden design diploma at the London College of Garden Design based at Kew Gardens and in practical horticulture at the Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh.
Ever since I was a small child I have always been fascinated and inspired by the natural world. This led me to study a degree in ecological science and then a masters degree in animal behaviour. After many years of working in a range of information, campaigns, PR, managerial and director roles for charities I decided to come full circle and work in gardens. Since gaining my qualifications I have been designing and caring for gardens in London for a number of years.
I recently moved to Brighton because I love its atmosphere and proximity to the sea, and I established rossgardens to design and care for gardens in Brighton and Hove and the surrounding areas.
I have all my own tools and am fully insured.
I am a Pre-Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and a Member of the The Gardeners Guild and the Royal Horticultural Society.
